SUPARJONO, NIM. 1110247455. Influences of Work-discipline and Motivation
toward Work-satisfaction and Performance of Employees at the Rectorate Office of
State Islamic University of Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. Supervised by Dr.Hj. Sri Indarti,
M.Si dan Prof.Dr.H.B. Isyandi, MS.
This study aims to investigate and to analyze influences of work-discipline and
motivation toward work-satisfaction and performance of employees at the rectorate
office of State Islamic University of Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau.
Data was collected primarily through distributing a questionaire to all
employees, as many as 107 people. Sampling technique of the study was census method.
Technique of data analysis was multi regression two stages. Hypotheses were examined
through statistical formula, they were, F test, determination test (R 2 ) t test, and partial
correlational (r 2 ).
Finding of the study indicates that work-discipline and motivation give
significant contribution toward work-satisfaction. Partial test showed Work-discipline
was correlated with and had a dominant influence toward work-satisfaction. Work-
satisfaction had a significant influence toward performance employees.
