ANALISIS PRIORITAS PENANGGULANGAN KEMISKINAN MENURUT KABUPATEN/KOTA DI PROVINSI RIAU

Abstract

This study aims to determine the priority of poverty reduction throughinterventions in education, health, infrastructure and manpower at regency / city in theprovince of Riau. Setting priorities using quadrant approach.Each region has a distinct characteristic of poverty, so that kind of intervention inpoverty reduction can not be generalized but should be specific according to thestrategic issues facing each region. Based on the analysis of poverty in the regency /cities in Riau Province, the regency / city that gets first priority for intervention ineducation is Singingi Kuantan regency, Rokan Hulu and Pelalawan. In the healthsector, the first priority is to intervene in Rokan Hulu, Kampar, Kuantan Singingi,Pelalawan and Kepulauan Meranti. Interventions on infrastructure is Rokan Hulu,Kuantan Singingi, Pelalawan and Kampar at the first priority. Then in the field ofemployment the first priority in Kampar regency.
